Where was I... er.. Shopping? / Sunday, June 17, 2007
~ Morning! Rise and Shine! ~
My clique were supposed to meet at Dhoby Ghaut station at 11am. I woke up at about 9.30am, 30min later than the time i shld wake up. Being the slowcoach that i am, by the time i reached Dhoby, it was like 11.30 already. On top of that, i lost my way around Dhoby (my mind isn't very clear in the morning).
Received calls from my friends hurrying me, talking about forfeits and stuff... argh make me panick only ==''
So finally, i met Hong Siew and Justina. They already started shopping =='' Mmm... all the tensed feelings about awkwards situations disappeared, b'cos we could still "chat" after not seeing each other for months. :) Good start (: An Qi will be joining us a little later at about 1 cos she has art lessons. First we walked to a 'ulu' shopping centre to get Justi's spectacles. We moved on to Heeren. Saw lots of pretty t-shirts and was soo tempted to buy!! Too bad i wasn't smart enough to save my own money first b4 coming out to shop. Also, i feel guilty spending my parents money... anyway.. i've got almost all the stuff that i need already. T-shirts and accessories and bags are just my WANTS.

Justina-- bag for sch, t-shirt. Hong Siew-- Shoes. Me-- Er.. nothing in particular..Oh, maybe a movie DVD...
The girls are hungry already. But we felt we shoud wait for An Qi and then have lunch together, but she'll only join us like 2 hrs later. They complained while shopping, saying they'll kill AQ if she had her lunch b4 coming! lol! Went to HMV to search for my movie but couldn't find anything interesting. Maybe..Ghostrider would be good, but i have a feeling it would show on HBO or Star Movies very soon. At last, we came out frm Heeren empty-handed. Went to the basement to check out the restuarant The Village. Nice ambience.. looks comfy and homely (yikes! the "idea experience" thingy is back!), but the *tink tink* aka $$,mmm.. not so good.
Noticed Orchard was quite empty today. It's the holidays, moreover, the GSSale is on, shouldn't Orchard be packed? mm.. Alright, next we went to Far East Plaza. I love spotting and looking at sport and cool cars like Ferraris and Lamboughnis! Too bad when we walked past Hyatt Hotel, there were none there. =='' Mmm.. when i get a car in the future, i would go for a beetle or a mini, black, white, red or gold in colour ^.^
Anyway, at Far East, Hong Siew and Justina went to get some take-away food. I skipped my lunch cos i wasn't hungry. Sat down to eat and talk, then continued shopping. After shopping for like an hour, An Qi came to join us. We went to take neoprints together. Had lots of fun. The pics were darn funny and cool! Some of us wanted the pics with the cute pose and so on... Unsatisfied, we went in to take another round LOL! This time, we spent close to 1 hour decorating the pics! An Qi and i were decorating while Hong Siew and Justi sat down to talk. They were like complaining and asking us to hurry. It was hilarious. 1 hr, imagine!
Went to get Justi's bag at Zinc. Aww... saw sooo many bags that i wished i could have... Hai..when i'm rich, i'm gonna buy everything that i like in Orchard =)
It was almost 4pm when we left Far East. Going Taka next. Walk and walk... My legs are starting to ache...blah. Shopping may be fun, but that's the price to pay.
Went to have an early dinner at Seoul Garden. Had a buffet. The staff who attended to us was really friendly. Doesn't look local. He was warm and also joked with us. We settled down at the table against the glass window. What happened next was super embarrassing. When my friends stood up and got ready to leave the table, i asked "where are u going?" They said "to take food". Then i blurted out "i thought they'll serve us what?" Then An qi gave mi that ~diao~ look and reminded me it was a buffet. I'm absolutely positive the table beside us (our tables 35 inches apart) heard me loud and clear.
Okay, so we got our food. To my horror, all my friends took was raw meat! Ugh. I wonder how the food will turn out. I didn't know how to cook the meat, like where to put them. It's my first time at Seoul Garden, you see, so i dun know how things work here. Then my friend placed the meat at the black area around the soup area, so i followed suit. It was a really interesting way to have a meal. It's so DIY.
The hot oil splashed out occasionally and scalded us. So imagine throughout dinner there were yikes and ouches. I immediately took pictures of us bbqing and eating. Call me sua gu (mountain tortoise) or whatever, but i took pics not only b'cos it's my 1st time eating at Seoul G, but also the scene looks really interesting and fun! The meat didn't taste as bad as it looked. There was curry, teriyaki, garlic chicken, black pepper beef and many more. Went for second helping. Took lots of goofy pics of us eating too lol!
This was then i noticed that the guy at the table beside us looked like a singer from a Korean band TVXQ. My friend in SP loves him and told me to take a pic of any lookalikes if i saw one. B'cos i love my friends, i took out my hp and took a pic of the stranger. I dunno whether that person noticed all not, but i didn't care. Shit, now i rmb my cam shutter sound was darn loud at that time. ==''
Dessert time. We decided to have ice kacang instead of ice cream. An Qi decided to have both == LOL. We made hell of a noise when we started the ice machine. (have u seen how they crush the ice at foodcourts? yeah, imagine that at Seoul Garden) It was so embarrassing! We laughed and saboed An Qi to help fill our bowls with ice. Wahaha!! So excited over our very own self-made ice kacang. Of course must take pic lah.Haha!
Oh, saw one of my SPG clubmate in the same restuarant, and i was totally shocked and embarrassed. Didn't say Hi, cos we aren't close (shoot, i forgot his name) and moreover, i was too embarrassed =='' I think he recognised me cos b4 leaving, he glanced at our table. =='' Dead. I have guitar practie tmr. Wonder how i'll face him tmr.
Left Seoul Garen feeling full, happy and bloated (drinks were freeflow, so..) Went to Kinokuniya for a while, b'cos my very Korea and Japan-loving friend An Qi wanted to check out some gothic mags. Checked out the art gallery with Anqi while the "less artistic" (=P) chose to sit outside and wait.
Walked all the way to Plaza Sing again. Lots of walking today. Went to get Hong Siew's shoes at DMK. I kept the receipt frm Seoul Garden, so i asked (well, actually forced) the rest to sign their names on it, then i took a pic of that receipt. This was how it looked like.
So we took the MRT home together. Recognised one person from SP Sch of Biz on the train too. So, the day ended with everyone feeling tired. But i felt really happy today. Juz hanging out with my old friends makes all my worries of the upcoming MST go away...
I love and miss my BFFs.

peace-keep the countries together, they have thus failed to achieve that. I think i tend to hold a class for history instead of telling you about me, i'm basically a what subject-realted lover (humanities) and thus
I am more analytical and critical about things, and likes to study about dead people, haha. lol. it's history what can you expect and also geography, it amazes me. I really like it alot, so what have you? Again to find this answer

it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band
felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's
all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal
thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is.
