Kim, Rach and I headed down to Orchard to give a talentscouting job a try. I skipped guitar today, which was the last lesson for the term. It starts again during the hols. Met kim at dhoby at about 11. Then took the mrt to Somerset. First we went to Heeren. It was empty. Can’t find any suitable ppl. Shopped around. Next went to Cineleisure. There also no ppl. Went to have our lunch at Yoshinoya. Saw a group of girls and went to ask them if they were interested but got rejected. Started to feel like tired and sianz bout this job. It's tough and tiring and u gotta face rejection. Finally, i got a name from a korean-looking girl. Finally.
Walked around and continued looking for ppl. We met Rach (who was doing her rounds at Orchard) at Cineleisure. Decided to give up and call BHI and tell them we'll stop working. The girl was like " This is the first time our scouters died on me on the first day u know?"
Who cares? i hate this job. So tiring. Made me feel so disappointed.
We went job-hunting next. We went to 2 hotels, Four Seasons Hotel and Orchard Hotel to ask if there're vacancies. Four Seasons was high class. I liked it. I've got to have another job b'cos the holidays is coming and my shifts at Guardian are only in sat and sun, and i dun even have to work full day. Sianzz. If i can get a job at a hotel.. how cool is that.. ^.^
My family is going out to West Mall to celebrate my sis's b'day. My sis's godma will be treating us to dinner. At first we planned to go Swensens for dinner, but there was a change of plan. We ate at a chinese restaurant instead, just next door of Swensens. Wow.. the food is really good. Next, we went next door to have Swensens ice cream. My mum ordered 2 banana splits and a ice cream cake. Argh.. Sinful! Had so much ice cream that night haha, but once in a while.. should be ok lah!

Just finished MOB CA3 at about 6. Finally it's over. Thank God.
I slept early on Thursday, at about 8pm, and actually planned to wake up at 12 am on Friday to study. But i failed to do that, so woke at 3am instead. Surprisingly, i didn't feel dead tired like i normally would have been. Studied from the notes. Couldn't decide which topics to spot. At last, i decided to follow my intuition and study what i think might come out.. which are the 4 mgt functions.
I had difficulty taking everything in by the time i reached the third chapter. It's just too much content already. Gave up studying at about 12pm. Went out of my study rm to read newspapers, eat slowly, sort the namecards in my wallet and then eat again.
Skipped the whole day of school. Went to school at about 4.45pm. Met Rach and Kim at fc6. We sat and chatted. I guess none of us are interested to study already. Well, except Kim, cos she's still reading the notes.
We couldn't go into MLT 12 so soon. We'll be taking the test in a lecture hall. Sitting side by side. It makes it so easy for people to look at each other's papers. And lecture halls have seats like the cinema, so i can easily see what the person in front is writing. There're 6 classes in the lecture hall now. DBA 03 sat right at the centre front. The invigilator is a crazy woman. She told us we're given 2 minutes to settle down. She seriously started the clock after 2 minutes. Whoever was still talking will have to stop the paper. Shoosh. So serious.
During the exam, my elbow kept knocking into Rach's. lol. I mean, the area is cramped, plus when u try to write quickly, yr hand moves fast right? So the banging of elbows can be so sudden and irritating.
I got stuck right at the mcq qn1. Sad. I simply tikum tikum those mcqs that asked on chaps that i didn't study. Was prepared or the worst when i flipped to the short-answer section. If they test me on the chaps that i didn't study for (mainly the last five chaps), then i'm so dead. Was praying to my lucky charm in my pants pocket. Ok, thank God out of the 3 topics tested in the short answer qns, i studied for 2, so i'm quite lucky this time.
Yeah.. MOB is over. No more MOB exams next term anymore... Mmm.. i'm going to miss Mrs Tan though... she's a really nice teacher..
There'll be a new module that has got to do with Marketing. Hope it's not all memorising, cos i'm sick of that. =,<
Saturday and Sunday 4 & 5 Aug 07
Worked today. I'm starting to get the hang of it, though i still got to run to my supervisor when a customer pays by an unfamiliar credit card or member card. I always pray that they'll just pay by cash. Darn. Got a lot of 'transaction void' receipts at the end of the day, but my supervisor said that was ok. What's NOT ok is that i got quite a lot of 'refund' receipts too. This is NOT ok. I mistakingly cash in when no cash is received, so in the end, i gotta make refunds. Shit. i hate all this accounting stuff. I hate accounting very much!
Am feeling kind of pissed with my guardian job already. There was one customer who glared at me while i was a attending to another customer. And another glared at me cos i was a little slow with the cashiering machine. Like What the Hell! Stupid people! Can't u give me a break? I'm like new here ok?! It takes time to "master" the use of the cashiering machine and memorising the many stupid credit cards! ugh...
Sorry for that. It's just that I hate such attitudes. And the working environment. I'm working with middle-aged ppl or 20 somethings, so it's hard to talk to them. I only talk to them about stuff that has got to do with work. Wish i could work in a hotel with ppl near my age..

Had EC test. Was minutes late for the test. Luckily Mrs Poh hadn't start the video. On the overall, the test was ok, though there were some questions which were difficult to describe.
Slacked for the whole day. Didn't revise ITAB at all. Watched Anger Management again. Was on youtube watching really funny videos. Celebrities impressions are really funny! U got to check this out.. i thought the Willy Wonka part was especially funny and real!
There's a little foul language used though, so... um.. beware.

Did a little ITAB, but gave up after chapter 3. Read a little of my story book, then went Youtube.
Was late again, for the ITAB paper.
The paper was ok, not like very tough. Encountered a little problem halfway. My com hanged and i couldn't find one of the pictures needed in the document. Asked Mr Tan for help, and he answered me in a not-so-happy tone. Found out that i could'nt find the pic b'cos i searched at the wrong place. So that explains that tone of voice. Couldn't finish the paper b'cos of these problems. But nvm. I already tried my best, so i dun think i'll fail this paper. =)
Finally, i got back my PACC paper. Wow.. how lousy. 53/100. Oh well, thought i would fail, so....
Getting worried for PACC. I have no confidence in PACC cos i dun like this module. Lots of format and numbers. And the thing is, once u make a mistake in one account, it affects other accounts. Pacc mid session test (MST) is on next Monday already... shoosh...
Rach and I went over to the Main Library to borrow some VCDs. Rach had wanted to borrow and familiarise herslf with CDs that her part-time job is selling. At last i borrowed Ultravoilet the movie and a Spanish VCD, and Rach, none. haha Laughed at ourselves cos i stood and waited in front of a glass door that cannot be opened automatically. lol. The girl's toilet was downstairs, and the staircase looked very ulu, so we took the lift. At last, we came into the lift full of guys. It was embarrassing. Lol.
We wanted to go downstairs to buy Mac's ice cream, but later decided to buy fruits instead =) Saw a bunch of marines and they looked so smart in their uniforms! Rach definitely agrees with me. haha
We both didn't want to go home straight, so we went Ang Mo Kio Hub. Rach got to shop for some jeans too. The trains were packed. Sianzz.. but i can ppl-watch so..
Rach had some back pain halfway on the train, so we got off at Braddell to have a rest. Took some pics there. lol. When she was better, we got on a train again.
It's my actual first time at Ang Mo Kio Hub. I came here b4, but didn't explore the place. It's quite big. We shopped for Rach's jeans but can't find a suitable one. There's a food fair held at the stairs area. Lots of stalls. We bought some food and then continued shopping. Still can't find the jeans. I bought a guitar pick from a guitar store ^^ We went home after that.
I watched more youtube. But gotta start revision soon.. cos Pacc mst is next Mon already... Huff... can't wait for the one month holiday to come.. by then can we really slack like there's no tomorrow...
Looking forward to National Day ^.^ Will be going there to watch the parade with Hong Siew. Arg.. the rest can't make it, so it's only the 2 of us.. Will be going to shop before that also..

Woke at 1.45pm. Received a call from Kim once i woke up. She's at work already, and she's facing probs with a customer. Lol. But everything's fine liao. Hai.. wish i had a job for the weekdays... how i envy Rach and Kim.. haha
Slacked the whole damn day. Was online. Called up Fullerton, hoping i can reach the HR department, but yet again, the person's unavailable. Hai...
Didn't touch my pacc book today. Will maybe start studying on Friday. Then working on Saturday and Sunday. Hai... hate exams..
Will be meeting Hong Siew at 2pm at Hougang mall tmr first.. hope i'll keep pacc out of my mind for tmr...

it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band
felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's
all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal
thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is.
