Guitar performance at North Bridge Rd on Saturday / Sunday, September 30, 2007

Everyone met at clubhse at 4pm to practice b4 going. We went there on 3 taxis. I boarded the first taxi with Felicia and Kuri. Li can't decide whether to get on all not, then when the taxi driver want to drive off already then he faster open the door, then got out agn to put his guitar in the boot. All the while the taxi driver kept threatening to drive off, like drive, brake, drive, brake. hilarious la.

We took quite a while to find the place. It's like in between HDB blks. There were quite a number of old folks sitting around. We were not exactly putting up a performance, it's more like that kind of thing where u eat then there's ppl playing music 4 u. You know, like in the movies, the rich ppl will hire a band of musicians to play music during the dinner buffet. Ya, we were something like that. I play until hand pain.. lol. We played some songs here and there when the guests haven't arrived yet, then went inside to rest and practice.

At about 6pm, we came out again. Now there guests around being served dinner so we played all the songs we know in sequence. The host did introduce the songs that we were going to play. When we finished, at least this time the guests sitting at the front table clapped. Whew... scare me, i tot the audience couldn't hear a thing...

After the performance...

After performance, we went to have dinner at Golden Mile Food Centre. Once we settled at 2 tables, 2 aunties from different drink stalls came to solicit for orders. They kept asking and asking. So irritating can. Is it illegal to do this? I read in the news b4 bout such soliciting at dunno where, but dunno if there's a law concerning it not.

Goshie. Me and Felicia sat at the couples table. =='' (rach, if u read this, u're gonna thank god u weren't in my shoes then >,<>Beside me was Jessica and Hafiz, and beside Felicia was Iman and Ira. LOL.
Haha ok la, it wasn't so bad la. But kept feeling me and felicia were like playing gooseberry la...lol

Nvm, haha. So we ordered our food. Hafiz's food came first, then Jessica kept asking him to eat first cos he had to break fast. Then mine and Felicia's came. Iman and Ira's were not here yet, then we were like pushing here and there between eating and waiting for everyone la. lol..
At last everyone's came so we dig in. The other table still waiting for their food.. lol

Wo... the guys' appetite at the other table is scary. Lol. After the main dish, they ordered dessert. Halfway, one uncle came around our area with a large pot. I kena shock when i knew that pot was they order one la! hahaha. It's really big k, 4 person's share. Some of them i think can't take it stop le.. hahaha. Then i think the rest still ordered another dessert. *faints Finally b4 we all left, XiaoHe and Kuri were still eating watermelons. Lol..
We were given a budget amount of money to spend on dinner, $8 per person, so i think this explains their big appetite. hahah xD

I was dead tired. Lugged home my guitar. But came home still have a little energy to go online. Jessica had left early with Hafiz just now during dinner. She said she had gastric.... no wonder she was like leaning onto Hafiz's shoulder half the time la, and i still thought...
poor thing...

Had a great time today, including the continuous guitar-playing part. haha

write about yourself here like how you lived through a crisis like the morrocian crisis. erps, have you studied about that before and about your test, how easy it is and how much confidence you have to pass and get all A1s for all subjects, add in your own wish here, and what you would do if target is not reached, like slash your wrist, eat many many painkiller pills at one shot and die. lol it's suicidal thoughts. stay away from that. but you need to enter a reality, everyone's doing that- it's the trend, so why not follow it. unless you want to be an odd one out. cause slashing wrist is soo common in girls school not in boys school. boys suicide, just like die gracefully from 30th storey, just look on the bright side, maybe you have lived in a lie too long and so you have found out the turth now, just think. optimist wins. you have entered into a world of reality



We know life's hard, truth is hard, lies are hard, they are all hard to accept when they have been found out, and i'm rushing history homework on the Abyissian Crisis about Italy and Abyssia going into war and that the League Of Nations cannot stop this from happening, and beacuse they are formed by means to stop war and peace-keep the countries together, they have thus failed to achieve that. I think i tend to hold a class for history instead of telling you about me, i'm basically a what subject-realted lover (humanities) and thus I am more analytical and critical about things, and likes to study about dead people, haha. lol. it's history what can you expect and also geography, it amazes me. I really like it alot, so what have you? Again to find this answer you need to enter into your own reality and reflect




it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is. done with the old back with the new
