Guitar performance for international students / Friday, September 21, 2007

wah.. overslept today. Practice starts at 11am. And i woke at 10am. Estimated i'll reach at ard 11.25, but at last i chiong and i think reached at 11.10am. hee =E


We had to perform at 2.30pm at MLT 12.
Had slight stage fright initially, but later the MCs talked to the intnl students and loosen them up and lessen the stress in the air... so it wasn't so bad. I could only hear myself playing throughout the performance. It's cos the space very big and so the sound all spread away le.

I think i made some mistakes. Some more i was sitting at the extreme right outside, so i think ppl can hear them clearly la.. lol yikes. On the overall, i thought it was ok, at least we finished the 3 songs fully :) Worst scenario i fear is at one point everyone play at their own pace, then the whole song messed up, then gotta repeat. *faints Oh. And lucky there isn't a stage, just a flat space at the front of the lecture theatre.. if not another worse-case scenario is to fall off the stage tgt with the guitar. oh my, what a scene it would be. ><

Next Mon & Wed, i'll be helping out at the cca drive tending the booth. Mon's 4-5pm i think, and wed's 11-12pm. Mmm.. dunno if mon's FOM project slot requires me to go for lesson not, if not maybe i can go help at the sports hall earlier. I guess it'll be a boring day, i'd better bring pacc and study... lol

SPG has 2 other performances that i know of. One's for the cca drive on wed 26 Sept, performing at 12pm for 15 min only i think. And another one on 29 Sept, at North Bridge Rd. Woo.. looking forward to this one, cos not in sch. It's for an old folk's home, and just got to know today it's the President's Challenge one and there'll be ministers present, so sounds like a big thing la x)

It's Rach b'day today, but couldn't pass her the present cos she supposedly was too lazy to come to sch for SPIC. hahaha. oh well, pass her on Mon lo..

I'll be working tmr, 5.30 to 10.30pm. Either tmr or Sun shall be my last day at work.
Woo... sch starting le.. i can't wait.. The hols have bored my brains out... thinking back, so far, i didn't touch a textbk, do a useful thing other than read 2 storybks and work. hmph.. for next hol, i'll have to sit down and plan already.

write about yourself here like how you lived through a crisis like the morrocian crisis. erps, have you studied about that before and about your test, how easy it is and how much confidence you have to pass and get all A1s for all subjects, add in your own wish here, and what you would do if target is not reached, like slash your wrist, eat many many painkiller pills at one shot and die. lol it's suicidal thoughts. stay away from that. but you need to enter a reality, everyone's doing that- it's the trend, so why not follow it. unless you want to be an odd one out. cause slashing wrist is soo common in girls school not in boys school. boys suicide, just like die gracefully from 30th storey, just look on the bright side, maybe you have lived in a lie too long and so you have found out the turth now, just think. optimist wins. you have entered into a world of reality



We know life's hard, truth is hard, lies are hard, they are all hard to accept when they have been found out, and i'm rushing history homework on the Abyissian Crisis about Italy and Abyssia going into war and that the League Of Nations cannot stop this from happening, and beacuse they are formed by means to stop war and peace-keep the countries together, they have thus failed to achieve that. I think i tend to hold a class for history instead of telling you about me, i'm basically a what subject-realted lover (humanities) and thus I am more analytical and critical about things, and likes to study about dead people, haha. lol. it's history what can you expect and also geography, it amazes me. I really like it alot, so what have you? Again to find this answer you need to enter into your own reality and reflect




it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is. done with the old back with the new
