This week was plain STRESS / Saturday, October 20, 2007

Whew.. what a week. Had two proj presentation.FOM trial was so sucky. The tutor was super disappointed with out grp. CD was... omg. Nina and I were rushing the project online till like 4am the next school morning. Geez.. can fall sick man... How i HATE PROJECTS. How i hate presentations too. I wish everything could be presented in black and white, so there's no need for oral presentations.

I went for service again on Saturday with emily and co. Today's preaching by Pastor Tan was very touching, i nearly cried again. haha.. Hui Jia told later that every time when Pastor Tan preach, many ppl sure will break down one. Today, he shared with us about sharing and giving. I really learnt a lot. Even through the small little things u do, u can make a diff in other's life. He told us a story called the Star Thrower. Really liked this story...

In the evening when the tide was low, an old man walked along the seaside. Then, he saw a boy picking up starfishes from the shore and throwing them back into the sea so that they don't dry up and die. The old man went over and asked the boy," There are starfishes on the miles and miles of sand, you will never finish throwing them all into the sea. What difference does it make?"

The boy smiled, picked up another starfish, and hurled it into the sea. Then he said," For that starfish, it made a difference."

=)

The church also put up a drama for us. Very nice and meaningful :) It's a real life story about 2 air stewardesses and the problems one faced at work and another faced with her husband.

Emily was so sweet! She bought me a pair of pants from Bossini. Yea, now i have another pants to wear to school ^^ Thanx Em!

After service, we went to Changi Airport to eat. We took bus 24 there. Before the bus could drive into changi airport, one policeman had to get on to check the bus. mm... cool :) But he just glanced under the seats very quickly, so i doubt they can find suspicious stuff at all. Maybe there's a huge scanner at the checkpoint that scans what's in the bus? Hee maybe eh...

We went to Poppye's (as in the cartoon character) to have dinner. They have fried chicken, burgers and cookies there. I ate a burger. The queue was very long, but their service there is pretty fast. And the staff there has good memory! Cos the food isn't prepared, we had to go back to collect. They don't have those acrylic tags to recognise what food you're short of, so customers can like cheat and say they dun have one full meal instead of just the fries mah.... haha. Then when we went to collect, the guy straight away read out what we're short of and served us. Hwee Ying and i was like "wah he still can rmb ah?" hahaha.

While eating, got one super cute toddler beside our table. He kept kachiaoing Emily cos there's only a short 'wall' dividing her and the toddler. Got one point the boy reach over and touch em, then emily like very drama, say " Don't touch me!" lol very funny lah.

I realised after some time that my phone had actually auto-off, probl cos low batt. Shoosh..My mum called me many times. She had actually driven all the way here to pick me up and then go Tampines Giants tgt. But i didn't answer cos my phone auto-off, so she went to Parkway Parade instead. Sheesh.. so after dinner i took bus with hwee ying and annie. They alighted first. I dunno i was too sleepy or what lor, i overshot my bus stop. At last i had to walk quite a distance to parkway parade. Idiotic me ==''

On the overall, i had a great time and learnt a lot. =)

There're so many things on my mind. FOM proj and presentation. Guitar performance, music appreciation performance, Elearning wk, CRS article, SPSS retest. oh ya. I failed SPSS. gosh, how pathetic can i get..? I really thought i would pass, but turn out like that. I think i'll take the retest, even if Ken Kwan doesn't advise me to. A failure will look so ugly in my record. Gotta buck up gotta buck up... ...

Every little thing will be alright,

No signboards
no direction from here.
But I think we should climb on

I see lots of clouds,
damn where are the signs.

Oh I see it, there's light!
And there's a path
a path that leads us
back to reality

i knew it would lead us somewhere
