went shopping at Bugis on Sunday... woo... / Sunday, October 14, 2007
Sunday was fun. I slept until 1pm. Shuang. Was supposed to meet Charlotte at about 4pm to go shopping with her. It's only the 2 of us. Then Sock Hwee called me up saying she wanted to shop at Bugis earlier, so i on la.
Met her at about 3.30 at Bugis Junction. The place was pretty crowded today. There was nothing much there, and i can't buy anything also cos the stuff there are pretty ex. But took quite a few pics.
Ok fine, it's a mannequin... lol. Looks real huh?
Today, Sock Hwee's looking for vests, polo t's, black silk ties and jeans. I'm looking for bags, t-shirts and bronze necklaces. I could have gone to Arab Street which is near Bugis, heard Kim say there got sell lots of DIY accessory stuff. Anyway, after shopping at Bugis Junction, we went to Bugis Street. It's my first time going to Bugis Street. Heard lots of ppl talking bout it b4, but never seen it for myself. hee.
Gosh, the crowd there was ____ . I felt like i was in Thailand lol. It was super crowded, ppl are like squeezed body to body. Hmph, big mistake to come to such a place on a Sunday. haha. Sock Hwee told me to watch out for pickpockets cos they can strike v. easily in such a place. There were so many variety of stuff. Saw many bags and t's that i like. Halfway, we bought 2 waffles(my fave!) and drinks. Then we went out of the moshpit to eat.
Went back to shop. Halfway, got short circuit. Lol. So in those shops that were affected, the customers are like shopping in the dark.
At the end of the day, i bought a long sleeve grey cardigan at only $10, and sock hwee got her polo ts'. This place can't shop finish la. I'm gonna come back to get my bag (=
We went back to bugis junction to search for a shop where we had previously seen a nice vest. We were supposed to meet Charlotte at a kopitiam ti have dinner with her. It was quite a long walk to that place. At last Sock Hwee had to leave first cos her uncle's gt fetch her home. Charlotte and i had drinks and fruits and chicken wings. Wah, i saw what Charlotte bought for the day, and it made me wish i was working for a great pay so i can also spend money like that ^^
We chatted for a while about religion. Hmph... i still can't get over that experience i had at the church service. Actually i dun mind believing in both Buddhism and Christianity, but Jesus forbids it. So, what can i do? Hmph... maybe i'll just stick to believing in my own God....

It's been almost 1 yr since i went to Bugis. I think the place changed quite a lot, and some shops also shifted already. There's this olden car on display. It's from the musical Chitty x2 Bang x2. It's really big and cool!

it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band
felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's
all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal
thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is.
