Back from Cruise!! / Friday, December 12, 2008
This long post shall be everything that happened on board the cruise from Tues to Fri. Enjoy!
Day1: Tues 9 Dec 08
Feelin bloated from yesterday's buffet at Miramar H. It was supposed to be like a celebration b4 gg on the cruise. haha i know what yr thinking. Anw, they had choc fondue also! So naturally i eat until the max. So on the emabarkment day itself i feel like vomiting. Before we went to Harbourfront centre, we fed the tortoises 4 days worth of vegies cos noone can look after them while we're away.
After that we drove to the petshop to place Blackie there for the ppl to look after. The guy started grooming for him so Blackie was like distracted. omg felt like crying at the petshop cos it sucks to say goodbye, even if its just for 4 days. We were like gg on holiday w/o him. And just to console myself, i shall upload pics of his family who are staying at the petshop also. They're kept in cages, but at least Blackie knows he has family there :)

After the petshop, had to go fetch my bro from Taka Seoul Garden cos his tuition teacher treated them to lunch. Lucky ass lor he, somemore still keep complaining say he cant wait to get out of that place cos he cant wait to go on the cruise. dotz. Time: 4pm At cruise centre, long queues at the counter to check in. Time to people watch haha! 
This cruise company Royal Caribbean first time picking up passengers from Spore. Kinda cool to be the first batch of Singaporeans on this line.

feeling damn freakin full alr, but my parents insisted we go for formal dinner
at Romeo and Juliet. By the way, we can choose to have buffet dinner at Windjammer or alacart at R&J. Everything is on the house except for alcoholic drinks.

After dinner, we had to go for a compulsory drill. Walao, we go star cruise always escape this thing de lor. This one very strict with the drill. We wanted to hide ourselves in the room, but Kennneth was like waitin outside, so no choice! The life jacket damn bulky lah, think we all looked retarded wearing it hahah

Randomly stumbled onto the golf field. Dunno how to play, so just anyhow shoot. haha
The ppl playing include kids, ppl like me, adults (one grp of chinese were like shouting to the ball jing qu! go in! haha)

After golf, we went for a live show at the theatre. Sth like Broadway, dancing and singing. Quite boring haha.
After the show, i went casino! omg first time gg inside very excited. I thought the age limit is 21, so i thought i was breaking the rule. Watched my dad play blackjack. The card dealer damn cool can, her hands move so fast. When i was standing there, the card dealer ask me how old i am, then the whole table of ppl looked at me. omg embarrassing. My dad then told her i legal age alr. The table we were at min bet is US$25. Horrible. After a while i went to join my mom in jackpot. Actually quite waste money, everything is like based on luck. When you press CASH OUT, all yr remaining money/ winnings will come out then you collect it in a cup. The coin sound damn shiok haha 
Gambled until 2 in the morn.
Went back to slp in my upper deck bed.
Day2: Wed 10 Dec 08
We chose to hire our own
cos if you choose to join a excursion group, eg. to Msia Lot 10 shopping centre, its US$37 per head. Faints. And there's little flexibility. You have to wait for the coach at like 5pm. If you finish shopping earlier, you'll be damn bored. Our taxi negotiated M$180 for 2 way trip. So we save quite a lot. We went to Lot 10 shopping centre. The trip was 1 hour. Snoooze. There's nothing much there. Expensive shops, Isetan etc... 
Thirsty, so went to check out the supermarket.

Since Lot 10 didn't have anything, we went to the next building called Sungai Wang Plaza. There got much more stuff. It's like SG's far east plaza. My dad, bro and me bought sport shoes at Bata. I bought one at bout S$25. Also bought a belt at S$8 and 2 headbands at S$8 for both. At only 3pm, we were quite tired alr, so we called the taxi guy and he fetched us back to the cruise centre. 1 hr ride back. Snoooze.
Went back to the cruise to have out tea break. Make-yourself-Ice cream!!

After tea break, my bro sis and i went to gym to work out. Kinda shiok there cos the gym has a sea view.

my mum's i/c with berry compote. Nice!! After dinner, we went for another round of live show. Tonight's one is very nice, cos it's acrobatic stunts by a couple named Ilia and Valerie. After that we went casino again while my bro and sis went for golf. Came back to my cabin to find a nice big hanky swan on my bro's bed, and chocolates on our pillows. So sweet!

The host said a farewell speech, then something like we hope to be the first cruise in SG.
wee.. finally star cruises have some competition! I would come back to Royal carib cos the ppl are very friendly, and i really enjoyed myself here. The food is also good!

On the 4th day, we woke up at 6.30, went for our last breakfast and meal on the ship, then checked out by 9. After that, we went home, put our stuff then fetched blackie from the petshop. He looks so different and clean! And he's became skinny.
Man.... i want to go back to cruise!! I'll miss the food the people the facilities!
Can't wait for the next holidays man!!!!

I love the room! It's spacious and think it's bigger than Star Cruise one. Our rooms are taken care by a roomkeeper named Kenneth. Think he's a black american, quite tall. He came into our room and like intro and explain stuff like how to call room service etc. So cool eh. The cruise is american, so everything very american style. Eg, tipping is necessary and the staff will occasionally chat with you. At first quite uncomfortable lah, with their american accent, then they like so friendly.

The staff that clear our tables are young and of different nationalities eg. chinese, american, filipino and i think got the middle eastern one also. Too used to the coffee shop aunties alr haha.

The system very interesting. We were assigned a table and a waiter who'll serve us for the whole 4 days(if we eat at R&J). Ryan, a Filipino served us. Very nice and polite guy. His assistant is a chinese guy with a funny american accent.
I had minestrone (kind of salty tomato soup) for starters and rigatoni pasta share with my sis.
Dessert!! Saw 'Warm chocolate cake' in the menu and immed ordered it. It'd damn nice.. outside, the cake and in the middle all wwarn chocolate.

omg time flies. It's day 3. went to Windjammer for b/f. Eat until damn full this time, cos i had omelette, waffles, bacon and yoghurt. oh and small hashbrowns. After b/f the 3 of us went back to change into gym clothes. We entered the gym for like 15 min only, cos it's so packed. Almost all the machines are used. There's was also this weirdo guy who exercised in formal attire. After gym, we went to swim! We went to the internal pool first. The water was damn cold. Actually ppl below 16 aka my sis are not allowed there, but we dont care lah. Also noone chase us out. Halfway, we went to the pizza counter to order pepperoni pizza and fries. Shiokness can. Eating by the pool. I felt like some tai tai enjoying life after retirement. Halfway the fountain in the pool turned on. The pool looked so nice. Too bad didnt bring my cam there.
After a while we went to the open space pool beside the jacuzzi to soak up. Shiok...
Did some shopping at the cruise shops. Bought one dolce & gabanna perfume and 2 havaianas, one for justi cos she requested and one for myself. I wanted to buy the ABSOLUT alcohol also cos it's damn cheap!! 2 bottles of like 1litre each for US$20. But my dad told me once u enter SG gotta declare and they'll tax you very high for it. :(

We know life's hard, truth is hard, lies are hard, they are all hard to accept when they have been
found out, and i'm rushing history homework on the Abyissian Crisis about Italy and Abyssia going into war and that the League Of Nations cannot stop this from happening, and beacuse they are formed by means to stop war and
peace-keep the countries together, they have thus failed to achieve that. I think i tend to hold a class for history instead of telling you about me, i'm basically a what subject-realted lover (humanities) and thus
I am more analytical and critical about things, and likes to study about dead people, haha. lol. it's history what can you expect and also geography, it amazes me. I really like it alot, so what have you? Again to find this answer

it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band
felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's
all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal
thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is.
